1. Introduction
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the PrediX website located at www.gopredix.xyz and any related interfaces, applications, or services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
PrediX provides a Web3 prediction market where users can create and participate in markets on real-world events through blockchain-connected wallets.
2. Eligibility and Restricted Jurisdictions
You may only use the Services if you are legally permitted to do so under applicable laws in your jurisdiction. PrediX restricts access to users in jurisdictions where the operation or use of prediction markets, trading, or blockchain-based applications is prohibited. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
You are at least 18 years of age;
You are not a resident of a restricted jurisdiction; and
You are using the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
PrediX reserves the right to block or terminate access to users in restricted locations at its discretion.
3. Account and Wallet Access
PrediX allows users to interact with the platform by connecting a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet (such as MetaMask or other compatible wallets). You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials, private keys, and seed phrases. PrediX does not have access to these details and will never ask for them.
Transactions conducted via your wallet are final and irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
4. Non-Custodial Nature
PrediX is a non-custodial platform. We do not control, hold, or manage user funds. All actions and transfers occur directly between your wallet and blockchain smart contracts. You acknowledge that PrediX cannot recover or reverse any transaction once executed.
5. Risks and User Responsibility
Using blockchain-based prediction markets involves substantial risks, including but not limited to:
Volatility of digital assets;
Loss of access to funds due to wallet mismanagement;
Potential bugs or vulnerabilities in smart contracts;
Regulatory uncertainty;
Market manipulation or low liquidity.
You acknowledge and accept full responsibility for any losses or damages incurred through your use of the Services. PrediX provides no guarantee regarding market performance or returns.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Violate any laws or regulations;
Use the Services for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
Circumvent security measures or geographic restrictions;
Engage in manipulation or spam transactions;
Upload or transmit harmful code or content;
Misrepresent or attempt to impersonate another person or entity;
Interfere with or disrupt the normal functioning of the Services.
PrediX reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account engaging in prohibited conduct.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, logos, content, text, design, code, and functionality associated with the Services are the property of PrediX or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for lawful personal use only.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the Services without prior written consent from PrediX.
8. User Content and Feedback
If you submit suggestions, feedback, or other materials (“User Content”), you grant PrediX a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and modify such content to improve the Services. You retain ownership of your content but agree that PrediX may use it without compensation.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may integrate or link with third-party providers such as wallet tools, analytics platforms, or communication services. PrediX does not control or endorse third-party content and is not responsible for their policies or actions. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PrediX disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
Fitness for a particular purpose;
Non-infringement;
Accuracy, security, or uninterrupted access.
PrediX does not guarantee that the Services will be error-free or available at all times. You assume full responsibility for your use of the Services and blockchain interactions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
PrediX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;
PrediX’s total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed USD $100 or the equivalent value of your most recent transaction on the platform, whichever is lower;
PrediX shall not be responsible for blockchain failures, hacks, or events beyond its control.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PrediX, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
Your use or misuse of the Services;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
13. Termination
PrediX may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or other reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Certain provisions (including liability, indemnity, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
14. Global Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are globally applicable. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through neutral international arbitration in accordance with generally accepted arbitration rules. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of such arbitration forums and waive any right to class-action proceedings.
15. Changes to These Terms
PrediX reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. When changes occur, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
